FLAMENCO DANCE SCHOOL in Bratislava.
The last years a new flamenco generation had appeared and grown in Slovakia reaching a considerable artistic spread within both national and international flamenco activities. Flamenco Dance school as the newest project of the well known author team Remedios is not any exception. There were plenty of such you could say. Well, yes and no. What is different in this case from most of others alike is the fact that it is not alike at all.
In Flamenco Dance School we build on inclusion and barrierlessness. The vison is to support human authenticity, playfulness and nature in flamenco or other dance on each and any of one´s rythmic-motive levels. With us you´ll take the road to a magical world of Andaluzian folklore and its modern stylizations in which some of you will even get to the point of ´duende´ (artist´s trance enchant) during the course. Ability to show the inner intimate world via authentic expose, preferably backed up by technical maturity takes years of training and tuning. Yet you have to start somewhere :)
Educative and edifying activity of our tutors is based on their previous experience from working with adults or children. Their aim is to mediate the value of flamenco art, its communicative potential not only in traditional but also modern form, recently heading to unexpected fusions or genres such as opera, musical, jazz, electric-boogie or argentinean tango among others. Apart from education, they also provide amusing accompanying words where the participant is gradually familiarized with humorous facts or stories from flamenco history and the life of its legends.
But beware. At our creative courses you will meet yourselves. Your uknown, suprising, larky, creative and passionate selves. We are here for all of you that believe the life is a mystery that wants to be revealed. For workers, retireds, entrepreneurs, dancers, poets, lovers. Flamenco dance and rythm classes will set you into a specific creative alignment. Gradually will you reveal flamenco cuisine interpretative mysteries, and will hear of strong influence of spanish gypsy traditions on current form of this beautiful art ..

Courses are led by qualified tutors and active artists. Date and time will be adjusted to numbers and possibilities of the prospects in terms of submitted registration. The number of hours taken merely depends on you. You will only pay for the hour completed. We can arrange workshops for the closed groups, where the content, date and place will be agreed according to clients needs. For those from outside Bratislava there is a possibility of accomodation free of charge. Courses are held each month. Targetting: Beginners. Intermediates. Advanced. Individuals or couples.
